CBSE 10th Result 2018 - Central Board of Secondary Education has successfully concluded the examinations of Class 10th in the month of March and April. Students are now waiting for their results to be announced as soon as possible. The examinations were ended in the month of April, the board might take around two months to declare the results of the examinations. Every year lakhs of students appear in the CBSE Board examinations, staff requires a lot of time to go through each and every examination paper that is why so much time is taken.

CBSE 10th Board Results 2018

CBSE Board is one of the largest boards in India, every year a huge number of students appear under the board examinations. Last year 12 lakh students appeared just from the CBSE Board, this number is expected to grow even further this year.

Central Board of Secondary Education was founded back in November 03, 1962. CBSE is headquartered in Delhi, the national capital of India. Over 10,000 schools are affiliated with CBSE as of now. The body is responsible for quality control and keeping the right system in place. The sytem includes creation of proper syllabus, the board examinations, managing schools and much more.

CBSE 10th Grade System

Earlier CBSE used to release marks using the percentage system, but now the system has been changed to grade basis to decrease the burden on students. 
  • A1 - 91 to 100 marks
  • A2 - 81 to 90 marks
  • B1 - 71 to 80 marks
  • B2 - 61 to 70 marks
  • C1 - 51 to 60 marks
  • C2 - 41 to 50 Marks
  • D - 33 to 40 marks
  • E1 - 21 to 32 marks
  • E2 - 00 to 20 marks
D is considered barely passing the examination whereas, E1 and E2 and subjected as failed in the subject. There is no need to worry even if you don't clear the examination, you will always be given a second chance.
